EXPLORING THE TAURUS NEW MOON
Blessed New Moon, my friends! Today’s Taurus New Moon promises to support our deepest desires, but only if we’re willing to fuck some shit up first. It’s Taurus season, and that means it’s time to ground in. Taurus is a most stable Earth sign, ruler of assets and resources. Taurus loves to indulge in the divine pleasures of life because she knows she worked hard to enjoy every single thing.
Taurus season is about working smarter, not harder. It’s a time to remember the long game, and stack up accordingly. Over the next few days, while she is still new in Taurus, the moon will makes aspects with seven other planets, including all of the social & generational planets. Most notably she will be conjunct with Uranus early Thursday morning – merging her emotional depth with Uranus’ destructive desires. Uranus is often referred to as the awakener of the sky, because his role is to break things up so that they can be transformed to something better.
Leo season is here, and I couldn’t be more excited! The fiery Lion energy of the Sun powers me in a way that is truly different from any other time of year. And because 2020 is officially the Year of the Shadow, this Leo season is bound to be unlike any other. The big differences will be easy to recognize. Let’s face it, we won’t be going to nearly as many cookouts, block parties, impromptu outside celebrations, or vacations outside of the continental US this Summer. We won’t be gathering in the masses, there probably won’t be any concerts or sports games, and public swimming pools probably shouldn’t be a vibe for any of us, either. Instead, we’ll be upping our face mask game (not the detox kind) and competing for who can sanitize their hands the most in one sitting. But, again, it’s LEO SEASON!!! If we have to wear masks, should they not be super fkn cute? If we have to sanitize, should it not smell like bubblegum and roses?!? Leo season is about being BIG, being free, and doing what feels good! It’s a time where hearts can open easier, and connection can come more natural and fluidly. Even in these darker, shadow times, the Sun is shining bright. All year we have been teaching ourselves how to take the bad with the good, how to live through the pain because it’s part of the process. We’ve been preparing for this Leo season all year – let’s live it! Let’s use this time to activate our love, to live unapologetically and authentically. Call in your inner Lion, it’s time to be fearless and free.
